Baker’s Sunset Bay Resort
Overlooking Lake Delton, is what families large and small need and want! The Reunion Magazine, November 2003 wrote a nice article on this resort because they happen to specialize in reunions. And, they are one of the very few PET FRIENDLY Wisconsin Dells resort.
The family we talked to said they come back year after year and never leave the resort once they are here. They also said the sunsets are beautiful and I guess that accounts for their name! Also in the evenings you can partake in the community pit fire or just relax listen the serene waves of the lake.
There is a meeting room large enough for families to meet, and is equipped with a full kitchen. This summer they offered free Riverview Park tickets with a room rental. A few other extras at this Wisconsin Dells resort include fishing and even a place to clean and cook your fish! Cliffside Resort & Suites
We were able to watch the world famous Tommy Bartlett Water Show from our stay at the Cliffside! We rented a lakeside room with a view and it was worth every dollar! This is very reasonable as a Wisconsin Dells resort goes, with breathtaking views and spacious rooms.

Island Pointe Resort Condos
Welcome to the Wisconsin Dells resort look and feel of years gone by. This little piece of heaven is part of a small peninsula on Lake Delton. As we drove into the 15 acres of shaded seclusion, it was apparent that the owner of this property put a lot of thought into preserving the beauty of the land and the buildings as one.
Island Point has two beach accesses, boat docks, swimming pool or in the lake, fishing, a playground and picnic area. It also has a cute clubhouse with a cabin appeal for guests to entertain in. This is the kind of place where families keep coming back year after year.
We talked to a couple from Virgil Illinois who were sitting on the front porch of their cabin waiting for their children and grandchildren to arrive. They have been coming here every summer for 8 years. They rent a cabin by the beach area so kids have easy access! They even rent their place an extra day after everyone else leaves on Sunday. And no, it’s not to have a day of peace and quiet…they prepare a breakfast farewell feast for the entire family. How sweet. This is how great memories are made.
Each cabin, condo, or house is individually owned but rented out through a management company called Lake Pointe Management. In order to check in to your cabin at Island Pointe, you need to take a drive just up and across the road about a ½ mile or so at E11232 Hillside Drive. Call real early because this place books out for the summer real fast. Make memories with your family today at Island Pointe…I know we will!

Rhapsody Resort & Spa On Lake Delton
While staying at the Rhapsody Resort on Lake Delton you will be treated to a vacation you won’t soon forget. My husband and I will fill you in on our stay at the resort as we fell in love with the striking interior and exterior design of the units and the numerous amenities. The Rhapsody Resort check in and welcome center is located at 1010 Wisconsin Dells Parkway on the corner of East Lake Road and the Parkway, directly across from the Embers Restaurant. From here it was just a couple of blocks to our getaway on Lake Delton.
Very few resorts have a location directly on Lake Delton. This Wisconsin Dells resort has hundreds of feet of frontage that raps around a point offering two sand beaches. In addition to the beach areas the Resort has slips and piers to swim, fish or boat from.
We chose to stay in one of the ten theme suites which host names such as Vegas Baby, VIP Lounge, Hog Wild (Harley fan’s), Surf’s Up and African Safari, to name a few. Our theme room was “London Bridge“ and we were immediately greeted by a large English fox hunt mural leading to a beautiful four poster bed, and a bright red English phone booth like you see in the movies. The room also had an oversized whirlpool tub, computer station and a wet bar all on a uniquely finished real wood floor. The wet bar sported a state of the art refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker and two wine glasses. Just remember to BYO wine or champagne!
The bathroom was another experience on its own merits. The floors and walls were all a beautiful natural stone material. The oversized shower was again all made of natural stone and was large enough for a whole family. The shower was very relaxing with the four body massaging water heads. As an added feature we made use of the complimentary toiletries and we were treated to shampoo, conditioner and shower gel made in France that had a unique fragrance.
Our unit walked out to a private patio with table and chairs overlooking the beach on Lake Delton. All units have access to large stainless steel master gas grills so you can host your family barbeque with no worries! They also have a unique fire pit for an around the campfire, sitting on the beach sharing stories kind of evening.
There is a large centrally located building with a recreational area which includes an indoor pool, sauna and exercise room. A heated outdoor pool is located behind the penthouse units and the terracing and views are outstanding! And of course you also have the option of boating and swimming from the sand beach on the lake.
For overnight rentals Rhapsody Resort offers everything from theme rooms to one bedroom suites, two bedroom residence, three bedroom lakefronts or a four bedroom penthouse. Any unit with two or more bedrooms are equipped with washer and dryer. The penthouses have enormous decks with sunset views.
