“Roll Over Beethoven”
Paul, Ringo, John and George in the Dells? It’s not too late to “ Meet The Beetles ” Wisconsin Dells style. “Roll Over Beethoven”, the lads from Liverpool are playing on the Sullivan Theatre stage “Eight Days a Week” all summer long. We really enjoyed this musical tribute to the “Beatles”, complete with the instantly recognizable Beatles look, style, brit accent, proper instruments, and onstage banter.
The musical talent and legacy of the “Beatles” crosses every generational line with plenty of musical entertainment for every age group. The boys re-create a "Beatles Concert Experience" we really enjoyed and brought back many memories for us. Sure “It’s Been a Hard Days Night” but get up and get your “Day Tripper” on.
The band represent some of Chicago's finest musicians paying tribute to the greatest band in history. These lads have come from every point on the rock n' roll compass to create a show that is really worth attending. The band has been playing together for some time and have made several national appearances at such locations as the:
Mall of America
Comisky Park
Navy Pier
Conseco Field House
Pepsi Coliseum
Meet the Beetles Wisconsin Dells will be playing the entire Summer of 2009 with 2 shows per day, 5 days per week, at both 6 pm and 9 pm. Make sure to check the schedule on the website because they do play concert events several times during the year.

Meet The Beetles Wisconsin Dells Show Cast
Vinny Gee as Paul McCartney
Vinny Gee took his stand as a musician at the age of six with his first pair of drum sticks in hand. When many people began telling Vinny, “You look like one of the Beatle guys”...“The cute one, ” he decided to take on the role of Paul McCartney. Already a musician, who had already taught himself the guitar and piano, Vinny was a quick study on the bass, but Vinny was not satisfied to just learn the bass. Once he mastered the instrument, he flipped it left handed and relearned everything to complete the McCartney look!
Today known as Sir Paul, Vinny plays bass, piano, and guitar. He is an expert at not only the Beatles catalog, but also McCartney's Wings and post Wings material. “I hope you enjoy the Meet The Beetles show, and I do justice to the music," Vinny says, "Thanks for everything Paul.”
James Hondros as George Harrison
James Hondros started learning to play George at the inception of Revolver in the summer of 1998. Jim had been playing guitar in rock bands since the early 1980s. Jim says; "it was upon discovering Cousin Liz's Beatles collection that I became a musician in the first place." He is featured in Meet The Beetles repertoire singing lead on over a dozen Harrison songs as well as contributing his lead guitar talents and vocal harmonies.
"I enjoy learning and performing George's parts. However subtle some of them are. His contributions to Lennon/McCartney compositions were nothing less than incredible. As a songwriter, George was overshadowed by the sheer volume of Lennon/McCartney masterpieces, which when all is said, does not diminish his ability to write some real gems. Some of my personal favorites are, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, For You Blue, Don't Bother Me, and, of course, Frank Sinatra's all-time favorite Love song -- Something."
Jesse Nolan as Ringo Starr
Jesse Nolan is a self proclaimed Beatles fanatic, who has studied Ringo's drumming his entire life. In fact, as an Associate Instructor at Indiana University, he taught a lesson seminar on Ringo's drumming, "I have always wanted to play some of those songs in a live situation with others who appreciate the Beatles' music the way I do", explains Jesse.
...And play he does...Jesse has dissected each drum beat, percussive sound, and overdub of the Beatles catalog. On stage he seems to be three Ringos, covering several percussion parts, which the Beatles recorded seperately, at the same time. With two degrees from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, a Bachelors in Music Education and a Master's in Jazz/Percussion Performance, Jesse has toured nationally.
Scott Carlson as John Lennon
Scott has performed in many venues with various bands and as a solo performer. This versatile musician began as a traveling vocalist. Along the way, a bass found its way into his hands, and Scott played the role of Paul McCartney for three years. Then he picked up a rhythm guitar and switched to the role of John Lennon. For the Meet The Beetles role he also picked up a harmonica.
